The Great Canadian Dollar Store in New Waterford opened in October 2007 and is a part of the Hearthstone Hospitality Family.  Some other members of "Our Family" members are Quality Inn Sydney which is only 20 minutes away and Lionel's Family Golf located a short 10 minutes away from our store.

As of May 2011 we opened "Movie Buffs" inside our store where you can rent or buy movies.  We have New Releases arriving weekly for your viewing pleasure.

Our store features everything from school supplies to seasonal items, household cleaners to home decor including curtains, rods and decorations.  Toys, make-up, jewellery, winter hats, gloves, baby supplies, and fireworks are just a few of what we have to offer our customers.
